Our Story
Dignity, Not Punishment
When families in India seek help for a loved one's harmful behavioural patterns, they often find centres that rely on force, shame, and suppression. The experience is dehumanising—for everyone involved.
Abhasa was born from a fundamentally different belief: that lasting change happens through dignity, compassion, and expert care. Not through punishment.
"Our founder, Mrs. Gayathri Arvind, spent six years researching what families actually need before opening our doors in 2019. Today, that commitment to dignified care remains at the heart of everything we do." — The Abhasa Promise
Since then, we've welcomed over 1,500 individuals and their families. People who were looking for a place that treats their loved one with respect—not as a problem to be controlled, but as a person worthy of genuine care. That's what we do.
Imagine, six months from now, your loved one looking back at this as the turning point. The moment everything changed.
